With every stroke, the ink whispers tales of design – elegant silhouettes etched in delicate lines, capturing the soul of iconic forms. Chairs, lamps, and tables transcend utility, becoming timeless musings of art and craft. From the Bauhaus-inspired elegance of the 1930s, including Alvar Aalto’s fluid vase series from 1936, to the bold innovation of the 1960s and the refined minimalism of today, each decade tells a story of vision and transformation. As an illustrator, I bring these timeless designs to life with a passion for detail, letting ink reveal the beauty in simplicity.
A tender dance of lines. Originating from sumi-e, ancient ink drawings. In working we find the hidden connection between typography and illustration. These illustrations invite stillness and presence, supporting the healing atmosphere of the practice.
Illustrations of food for a TCM doctor. TCM nutrition is one of the five pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine and plays a very important role in the Chinese form of therapy. Each element and its food has a different effect on our body and our organism.
These illustrations were commissioned by Heartfulness Germany. Heartfulness has the world’s largest network of non-profit meditation trainers and is a global community. The individual style of handwritten letters is continued in the illustrations and makes them gently vibrate.
