My grandmother taught me how to sew and this was very clever of her. It set me on the path of designing my own clothing over three decades ago. I love sourcing organic materials, creating new patterns and styles and go into slow sewing. I am committed to reducing my environmental footprint through my fabric choices and my forever style. My clothes have become my superwoman coat!

… and let it grow. I’ve been in love with Japan ever since I visited friends in Tokyo. Years later in Amsterdam I discovered a fascinating book of old Japanese crests known as Kamons that truly mesmerised me. This inspired me to create illustrations of these precious symbols in the style of traditional woodblock printing.
